Lispeltuut.org

The Lispeltuut makes her debut in the book when Pluk is on vacation in Egwijk aan zee (Egwijk at the sea). Pluk gets lost in the dunes during a sandstorm. He suddenly hears a sound which resembles the sound of a radio time signal; it turns out to be the shell that he found on the beach. When he listens more closely he hears the Lispeltuut telling him how to get back to the sea.

Other appearances of the Lispeltuut

The Lispeltuut makes four appearances in the book and helps Pluk three times. The first time is when she tells Pluk how to get back to the sea, the second time is to tell Pluk how the find the ferry of the Heen en weerwolf (English: Tell-me-where Wolf) and the third time she helps Pluk find the Kluizelaar. The fourth time she suggests they visit the Heen en Weerwolf again for Pluk's birthday.
